Does anyone know if the GTC promotion those guys are running is a limited time offer, or is it a permanent thing? I assume it needs to be limited...

Feel free to email the site support. It's what I did. The above was the answer they gave.

That said, Goge is entirely right. Assuming any limited edition ship won't be recycled later is a bad idea.

There's one on the market in Rens for 7.5 billion right now. You can actually pick an Aliastra Catalyst up for 17 EUR on this website. These spec. edition Catalysts are going to make someone some ISK. I don't know why anyone is paying RL money for normal PLEX while these deals ar going tbqh...

Because that 17 eur is 21.7 in usd and a normal single plex is 19 usd. And if you Plex these special deals, you don't get the special ships or items. You have to directly add the time.

Thats if people are really buying these painted ships for the marketed price. Which I would highly doubt, or if they have, its rare and its going to be a very long sell. Yet they would likely go for about a plex. But its still just one plex worth of isk. and you only get one ship per 30 or 60 day pack. So if you did want a billion and not game time. Would would likely pick up the normal 2 plex offer as plex is just easier to sell. The longer this runs, and the more sites that do it. That billion isk painted catalyst will be less and less likely now.

Has there been an official CCP blog or thread on this yet, I saw a note above that says they would announce something, it would be nice to see a list of where and how to purchase before my accounts expire, I might like to have one or two of these little gems to add to my hanger fleet :)
