Cruise Missiles

So I'm sure this has been asked before, having gone through various updates prior to taking a hiadus from EVE it was no surprise that things were changed significantly when I got back.

But umm... Cruise missiles.

I have over a million points in Cruise missiles, and don't ever intend on flying the worst pvp battleship ever. They were useful for Stealth Bombers... but now it seems I have a giant wasted pile of SP.

I know, this is where you expect me to request the SP be remapped... or propose some silly use for Cruise missiles, or just lament how crappy CCP is or something of the like.

Well you're wrong... I only have one question:

What kind of booze should I drink to deal with this catastrophe?

I still like to use my Raven Navy Issue with T2 cruise in level 4 missions that my Tengu isn't optimal for. The RNI is also a lot more fun than the Tengu, so sometimes I use it just for that reason.

Recently I've been using a drone-only Rattlesnake just for a change of pace, though it is a lot slower to complete.

I can use all missiles, and I'm working on all turrets (can use all T1 turrets and all T2 small turrets so far).

I don't really see it as a loss, rather it gives me flexibility to fly whatever I want when the mood strikes me. I've got quite the assortment of ships in my hangars.

I recommend something cheap, but palatable. You'll need lots. I wonder why SB's can't use cruise anymore. Cry

Navy Raven / Mish running Raven = expensive PVP target.

Otherwise, cruises are pretty much useless.

I don't plan on flying a raven... Scorpion maybe, but if I'm shooting with missiles I've got far too much free time.

Don't fly what you can't afford to lose and replace.

I've lost one RNI because of a connection loss, and immediately flew to Jita to get another to recover the wreckage. My Tengu is worth more than my RNI, and I've lost one attacking a w-space POS (very stupid).

In over 3 years of missioning, no unexpected PvP. I am naturally paranoid though (watching local, dscan, salvage alt in previous room, low population systems, abandon wrecks, etc.) I fully expect losses; that's EVE.

Personally, I'd go with a nice red wine. I'm partial to Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir myself.

Reyka Vodka after a chill in the freezer is literally outstanding. Cant get Reyka then go with Russian Standard.
