Funny how you can't abide by your own rules.

I haven't paid :tenbux:.

Cyno's lit, bridge is up, but one pilot won't be jumping home.

Lets see how eager they are for 'emergent game play' when 30 Wormholes from High Sec spawn in your capital ship yard systems.

oh no, that's literally our greatest fear, mission ravens coming into our systems to bash our CSAAs

I'm not surprised. It seems like a reasonable precursor to jumping for joy.

In the last months Bat Country and some other high sec suicide gankers made a fortune ganking freighters in Niarja and Uedama. Now you see more and more other groups doing it also in other 0.5 systems after they found out, how easy it is.

Well this is just terrible, and also in clear contravention of that section of the EULA that promises you'll be safe when you AFK your Charon full of loot about the place.

Damn.

There's only one thing to do then: the new Goon campaign — boostergeddon, where you buy up every last booster charge in highsec to ensure that only some Ravens can threaten you. Maybe then you will stand a chance.

seriously though - since i don't own a jump freighter, 30 whs to highsec would be like the greatest thing ever

i mean, the threat of guys too afraid of null entrance gatecamps to make a move before is indeed mighty
but I think I could manage

Yeah. You raise a good point...

We'd station rifters at the gates with points for the newbies and cynos for some of the vets and we'd hotdrop them as they came in.

Ganking ~profitably~ will be suitable nerfed in the future, I am confident.

High Sec "profitable Ganking" should be nerfed. It's mathematical free loading nothing more.

I'm glad CCP have finally come down of their own high and accepted that they can't make code do things we can't condense to a statistic. Anyone trying to con you in to thinking that being allowed to destroy another customers experience is doing you a favor should be looked upon with a grain of salt.

You want everyone and their dog in Null?

Time to play my favorite thought experiment!

You are a freighter pilot, you are hauling mineral goods to a market and you manage to sell your load and make a nice profit. The user that bought your minerals, runs a manufacturing operation and he makes ammo. He turns all your minerals into ammo, and sells them to some hauler who takes it to a hub. A goon comes along, docks up in that hub, buys a Talos along with ammo made from the very goods you managed to profit from days earlier, and goes to a gate with some friends to find something interesting to do. Right around this time, you are making a new haul and come across these particular goons who expel the very same ammo you had a hand in on you, and blow you up.

If you were ever able to actually know all this, what is your role in the particular scenario? Do you take Zero, Partial, or Full responsibility for your own demise?

Was the freighter ~overloaded~ with delicious goodies?

cant nerf stupidity. Hey I have an idea? How about I not put 20 bil into my freighter.. just a thought

So true, there's an amount of ships they need to gank a freighter before Concord will spawn knowing that carry less then the amount of value of ganking ships making it not profitable.

yes, technetium-laced goodies brought over by that very goon who took the money you paid him and in turn paid you for a talos, guns and ammo that you made, making the circle complete

seriously though ocih, back to your idea

did you know there already is a nullsec ihub upgrade that lets you increase the chances of a wormhole opening?
only costs 1 bil for the ihub, not including the modules, and you have to maintain it by mining thousands of belt rats a day

and here you are suggesting giving it to us for free

Aww, you had to spoil it.

Now we'll have to mine thousands of belt rats in order to get our highway into highsec Sad
