I kill bots all the time and while warping though systems I used to d-scan of faction/officer wrecks, but i guess the bots got so good they scoop those now.

So the only things that happen in EVE are the things discussed in GD? I better stop doing this MAZE I'm doing right now because there isn't a forum thread about it (LOL).

But for real, I've also heard that "unwinding" argument before. I use EVE PVE to unwind (after a day of dealing with idiots and welfare queens who tend to hold the same attitudes as EVE carebears lol), doing anomalies or exploring in null, runing incursion HQs with my favorite communities, or occasionally running a mission of some sort (lvl4 or 5, sometimes pirate missions in stain or delve ect). The fact that I want to unwind and don't feel like actively pew pewing real people doesn't change the nature of the game or the consequences of my actions (such as logging in and undocking).

Yet many a miner thinks they should be left totally alone to "unwind" while that add more minerals to the game, an act that affects everyone. This is an example of why some of us dislike them and their practices, they think they get to affect us without consequence "because they want to chill".

They are wrong.

By far the largest cluster of bots live in high sec, mostly in the forge and lonetrek areas. Thanks to the bears, we can no longer deal with these scum in the belts.

Last bot purge, more bots were found in The Forge alone then all of nullsec put together.

I don't care how you post, frankly, but someone that delivers a legitimate argument with merit is going to carry far more weight with me than someone who's just childishly expatiating diatribe about my personal character. The fact that I CAN admit I'm wrong, and have demonstrated an ability to shift my opinion based on new evidence argued with merit and intelligence should demonstrate to anyone WITH some intelligence and maturity that my ego has nothing to do with it. However, you post like you speak for the masses, throwing around the word "we" as if you have multiple personalities. You also don't seem to get that my post, which you quoted, was conceding a point, in direct contradiction to your claim that I'm somehow worried about my ego.

But if it makes you feel better about yourself to think we're all some kind of video-game fascists who want everyone to be our clones, have at it, nothing we could say will convince you otherwise.

This is a game - you keep bringing up reality - my reality is this is just a game, and I don't give a crap one way or the other. I have no problem here, you're the one that's consistently making references about what type of person I am and my character in general, so I would suggest that you just have a personal problem with me that you're just gonna have to get over. I have no problem with you, even after the abuse I've copped from you with suggestive pejoratives what kind of person I am. If you want me to take you seriously on any level, you're going to have to do better than assuming you know something about me and jumping to childish conclusions.

Honestly, it's not so much you personally, it's that you are displaying the same stubbornly ignorant attitude that is common in people who post here, people who really don't like the game as it is but think "If i just keep posting ccp will make the game better for me" lol.

I laugh, but it's honestly a bit dismaying to see this kind of attitude in a video game setting where you can't really die or lose anything.

Well said. People like Remiel can dish it out but can't take it, making him the prototypical carebare type lol. It's common that folks like that don't examine themselves or their ideas, but can tell you in detail where YOU are wrong lol.

Nothing will ever change with them and I know that. It is entertaining to watch them squirm though, ain't it ? :)

No I didn't, people made assumptions about my character based on a failure to understand the point I was making. People that jump to conclusions have a special kind of character, too - I won't say it out loud, though, don't want to make you cry more.

If I'd been comparing the ingame crime to the real-life crime I was talking about, you would have a point.

However, I was talking about the mindset of people who blame the victims instead of taking responsibility for their behaviour.

If you can't see the distinction, which I have explained repeatedly, with no lack of clarity, on numerous occasions, then you really are a waste of brain matter. Who's most likely plexing: peeps botting in null or afk miners in hi-sec? Not defending or attacking either but this whole miner thing is getting stupid when there are much bigger problems elsewhere.

If that figure includes the spam/market bots, given Chribbas recent research Jita probably accounts for at least 40% of all the bots in Caldari space.
