Are you certain an AF can tank sleepers?

They can, at lest in C1 and C2. C3 and C4 too if you find a Wolf Rayet and fly an armour ranked AF.

This reminds me, I really need to buy a new Enyo for both PvE and PvP. AF:s are ridiculously fun ships to fly.

Sounds fun.

Is this is something you done or just something you think could be done, in theory, and if you throw enough ISK at it? The limit for what you can do with a T2 fit AF is somewhere between C2 and C3 I think, it would be really interesting to know how you intend to deal with the neuts and webs of a C4.

If you done it, got a fit?

Only tried it in C3's, but I think it should be doable at least with a fleet of AF:s in C4's as well. Would have to try it to find out for sure. The Wolf Rayet bonuses make tank and DPS a non-issue, but the neuts can stop the fun at least if you are flying solo.

When the logistics frigates are released, a bunch of those and a few AF:s should be able to do pretty ridiculous things.

EDIT: 2-3 Ishkurs with repair drones look promising.

This is the method I've been using for a couple of months. I works a charm.
I wouldn't recommend more than C2 sites, though.
I've run sites in Wolf, Ishkur and Vengeance. The Vengeance is the most comfortable due to it's generous tank and cap. Ishkur is the fastest due to it's amazing DPS. Wolf manages, but I was happy to move on to Vengeance.
Probably others can do it as well, I just haven't tried them yet.

And yes, AFs are cheap and fun to fly, they're easy to skill up to because of small modules and they have a much easier time getting away if someone lands on you.
If you get shot, you won't cry too much.

Wolf:
4x200mm T2 autocannon
1xprobe launcher

J5b scram (for pure bearing, this should be a cap booster instead)
1MN Afterburner T2

Explosive Plating II
Kinetic Plating II
Adaptive Nano Plating II
Small Rep II
DC II

Small Burst Aerator
Small Collision Aerator

Vengeance:
4xRocket Launcher II
1xProbe Launcher

Small Cap Booster II
J5b Scram
1MN AB II

Small Rep II
Adaptive Nano Plating II
DC II
Ballistic Control System II

Small Anti-thermic Pump
Small Warhead Calefaction Catalyst

Ishkur
3xSmall Neutron Blaster II
1xProbe Launcher

J5b Scram
Small Cap Booster II
1MN AB II

Drone Damage Amp II
DC II
Small Rep II
Explosive Plating II

Small Anti-Explosive Pump
Small Hybrid Collision Accelerator

5xhobs T2
5xECM drones for added GTFO

Ishkur rocks so much.
However, when there are sirius towers or BS on the field, move for the love of god.
When you land on grid with the sirius towers, they almost always get a salvo in, before you start moving. Enjoy filling your boxers when they strip all your shield and half your armor in one go. Then, start moving and activate your repper and you should be good :)

This intrigues me because I can fly an Ishkur and this fit is basically a PVP fit which is great--makes me feel a bit safer. I never would have suspected that this could work though. I think I'll give it a try... but I still have my doubts. This is what I'm looking for though... Very minimalist!

The fit is nice for aggressive opportunists :)

Just. Keep. Moving.
Kill webbers and neuters first. Also, kill smaller first (except sirius towers which I usually kill first - Although I've experimented with keeping them on site for last in case someone in a larger ship barges in, in which case you'll get a big buff to your DPS if you get pointed).
Oh, and do make your life easier by managing triggers. Tanking two waves may force you to warp out a few times depending on your luck and skills. If webbing frigs are triggers, take down all but one, then kill the remaining frigs and cruisers before killing the last one.
