Do you research ALL blueprints to ME 8, no matter what or do you restrict your research to the maximum ME that will actually affect the production? After all, only a few blueprints in any given set need ME8. Mostly its either ME 2 or ME 4 that is the best there is.

Oh, and just to clarify: despite what you state in your post, the ME8-is-the-best-possible only goes for the Ship Component blueprints, not the Capital Ship Component blueprints necessary for JF production. Those are going as high as ME 400 or so until theres no more gain from further research, even if the research itself would have been free.

Its easier to research everything to the same level so we don't have to do so much micro managing... 8/8 isn't necessary at all, just makes our lives easier so we don't have to always be switching jobs in and out all day.
