I've seen a lot of threads in various sub forums locked with the last posted reply dated around 9-12-2011. I'm not talking about threads locked by a GM due to 'Lack Of Content' or 'Double Posting', etc.

I don't remember ever seeing any mention of 'Thread Life' listed in Dev Blogs about these new Forums. In the old Forums, threads had a shelf life of 3 months from the date of the last posted reply before being locked due to inactivity.


Any chance of getting an Official statement from CCP DEV or GM about 'Thread Life' here in new Forums?

Like this thread for example. If nobody posts a reply in it, how long will it be accessible before being locked due to inactivity?

P.S.
Please fix the new Forums to retain the text that is currently being written. Sometimes when posting a new thread or writing a reply, especially if switching between browser tabs, all the written work will vanish after selecting 'Preview' or 'Post'. This creates a lot of frustration and discouragement.
