Where is the full/limited API key generation page? All I find now is custom API Keys. Did that change recently?

Thanks

Also is there a way for me to see what information my key shows others?

Only the custom keys live on. The old ones can't be created anymore and will die a horrible death soon (tm).

See the devblog about API Key changes here

The new API really is better and more flexible in my opinion.

Now tell us what you really think. Don't worry, we won't tell CCP. Lol

"We will create the introduction thread if that is requested by the community. Also, we will have an ISD Seminar about the CCL team in the coming weeks in which you can ask your questions about the CCL team and provide some constructive feedback to us." - Countless pages of locked threads and numerous permabanned accounts later, change is coming.

originally CCP intended to shut off the ability to create new old-style API keys alongside the move to HTTPS - shutting down the HTTP (without S) service happened earlier this month but the change to old-style API keys did not happen.

old-style API keys can still be created and used, the website to do that is at: http://community.eveonline.com/api

Old-style API keys are preferable to new-style API keys as they allow you to use a personal API key to access whatever corp data that character has access to based on his in-game roles.
In the new system you have to have full director roles in order to create a corp API key.

Within your own corporation this hardly matters as you can hand out corp API keys with suitable access masks to members that need them - however, it does make a difference when you are checking the API key of someone else.

Imagine one of your applicants has the Junior Accountant role in his current corp on one of his characters (J.A. is a fairly widespread role, maybe you are looking at an alt that is in the holding corp of his current alliance and got this role for the sake of transparency!).
If he gave you an old-style Full API key you could now take a peek at that corporation's finances (which could result in very useful knowledge); in the new system you would have to ask him to ask his director to give him a corp API key which he can then pass on to you - which is for obvious reasons not going to happen.

As someone who has done API coding for corp, personal, and other Eve purposes, I also endorse the new API system as better and more flexible.

(I am not telling you what 7-digit checks CCP is sending me for my posting this comment, though)

You're close a year behind mate xD

Disabling the ability to make/use the old ones was about 2 months ago though.
