Actually you made several assumptions in the first sentence alone. He's the exact opposite of your description and I don't hire or fire. If I did do the hiring in this manner however, I don't think I would get too many return applicants when I ask them about their views regarding a spaceship game, rather than what their qualifications are. In fact I would probably ask myself how I got hired when I'm that irresponsible with my work practices.
