The Orca is the obvious choice of "Adventure Mining" with it's collection of barges/exhumers and soon to add ORE Frigate. I was wondering if anyone had perfected the art of packing the Orca with the exact load out of ships, gear and such for HS (or Low, or Null or WH?) mining trips?

I have been working on a few loadouts, with ships in bays, ammo and the like but I am still not hitting the magic formula - I am looking to do L4 Mining Missions and Ore, and Ice atm, but when the Ore Frigate comes out - Gas also... with it's harvester bonuse and small size, it should fit in nicely.

Actually the Rorqual is the ultimate mining RV. You can fill it with Exhumers and jump it to the system you scanned a grav site down.

You can also throw a POS and some fuel in the cargo hold so it has a bubble to park in during your camping trip.

They should have called it the roquebego and made it look like the ship from Space Balls.

Never had a Rorq myself, but I hear it's a big, flashy hot-drop beacon. Lol

Which is why you need to bring a POS to park it in.Cool

Everyone in null wants in on a roqual KM. They are just so rarely caught outside a POS shield.Evil
