Why bother? No reason to go to null... there are WHs still vacant. highsec seems to be make more ISK anyway, lowsec has FW. If it weren't for e-peen wars null would be an empty wasteland.

But nullsec is the end game! To the cliff, lemmings!

I suppose if the region is getting abandoned, I will go out there the way I have already been out to null: I'll use wormholes to get there, hang out there exploring and ratting, and then go back to high sec with a load of phat loot.

No fuss (with neckbeardery) no bother (with dumb 0.0 politics, bubble camps and gank pipelines).

...or you could just run a bunch of L4s in HS or join a FW Militia... they pay better than ratting in null. Especially Sansha... dude you could just do an incursion. 0.0 gank pipelines will always be bubble camped by someone, especially HED-GP. What does it matter if you get sov there anyway?

No no no I already do what I described. Exploration is my "thing" you see.

There are good exploration sites, radar mainly being the ones worth the trouble, in 0.0. Ironically, I can also make 10 mil ISK in 5 minutes hitting a good radar site in high sec. But nullsec sites are more challenging and have more rewards. Otherwise there's rats to be had for good bounties.

In my last expedition to nullsec I didn't see anyone else for nearly 2 months.

That's how open and free deep null is past the Great Wall of Carebear. When you get past the intel channels and nobody knows you breached "their" space, you won't get hunted by every bored or emo-raging nullsecer and his brother. Maybe some Jan Brady type will send a patrol but they have to cut into their own ISK pump carebearing to do that.

Twice I have run into lone carriers ratting - but nothing would come of that. Not sure why - maybe they figure I'll hit the report bot button if they tried to bubble me in and curse at me in Russian for a week.

Funny thing is, deep null is so empty, even if they know that somebody is out there, they don't bother. They know that they can blob whoever it is on short notice, and only really get nervous is a stealth bomber shows up on a D-scan where they have mining ops - yet I NEVER saw a mining op.

I think that in order to claim SOV in a system, the SOV holders MUST have industry and ratting ongoing in that system. They should be required to have a certain level of industrial output and pirate faction ship kills in order for actually have SOV and able to mine moons.

Yeah yeah, I know. With such a system, we would be forcing PVe and Industry on PVPers - but since it's perfectly OK for PVPers to force PVe on PVe'ers, why not have it the other way around? Why should only one play style have something forced on it?
