I thought about skipping this topic alltogether, but thinking about it... I'll just post my opinion:

It's fake and why should anyone believe such a claim? Just think about it...

At first, 20 accounts are like 300 $ subscription fees per months. With this money you could fund two accounts for one year or one account for two years (almost). It's quite a lot, yes, but just think about it. Does CCP care about their income? Sure they do (they're a company after all). Would they risk their credibility and the trust of players over 300 $ per month? Seriously?

The player doesn't get his items back: If he stops playing, CCP is losing like 20-30 accounts (friends of friends etc.). So what?
The player gets reimursed, which is against their own rules, but just to save those 20-30 accounts? Some thread like this happens and if there's proof a lot more than these 20-30 people will stop playing, because they'd think they can't achieve anything or others just get their things for free... this is just stupid. Why would anyone believe such a story? Why should CCP risk anything for doing such things?

Only reason to be reimbursed I could think of is if his account was hacked. Thing is CCP takes forever & a day to investigate hacked accounts so I doubt you'd see such a quick action

Also if anyone has any serious concerns that the guy was reimbursed they should e-mail CCP's internal division. They'll check to see if he was and if he was that Dev/GM will get fired (or eaten, I'm not sure how employment law in Iceland works).

Thank goodness someone actually uses 20 accounts. Pretty bad ass. If they plex or sub IDC. Thats awesome. Anyone who can do that (Well) deserves to play for free in my opinion.

Seriously. At least Fox News allows airtime for opposing viewpoints, instead of state-supported leftist BS and spin all the time.

The BBC has a charter of impaciality and faces fines if they chose one side over the other. Every party by law must have equal air time and they go out of their way to get both sides of a story.

Depending on where the ips are logged (check it they are), it would be easy if he said something like, hey 30 minutes ago I was in the US, at the time of the loss I was in Uzbekistan. I would like to file that my account got hacked.

Seems a lot more open and shut to me.

That only really applies to hisec and lowsec.

0.0 reimbursements are much more common from what i've seen.
