Just go to lowsec or 00 and mine ozone/HW. much simpler.

Going to 0.0 or low sec may be simpler, but then again you'd need a Jump freighter or a Titan to be "safe", moving your goods to a high sec market.

Also PI could be expanded like Jin alPatar says, by puting up better refineries, since POS refineries are worse then high sec ones, say 100% refine yield, for 20.000 m3 of ore pr 2 hours, or even you could have it like the PI, more yield at the cost of more time, so if you need the minerals fast, you'd get worse yield.

We could even move capital ship part production to Planets, or T2-3 part production. since we capsuleers are GODS among men, and we should also be able to support the little man on planets by giving them some jobs to do, since they are "cheap" labor, other then the space station workers.
