What is going to be done about this ICE Interdiction?

Goon alt confirmed. Just do what Falcon said. Get a few friends or alts in logi ships and form a permanent rep web and ensure all ships are tanks. Invite a friend with an Orca to hold ore, or use an alt in an iteron. Problem solved.

I'd rather have the ~20k+ better EHP on the much cheaper Procurer in a situation where ganks were more likely. Yield is still similar and losses can be shrugged off. Not to mention if you are being actively hunted chances are you can't sit still long enough to make proper use of the hold anyways.

You are forgetting that the effects of Karma are inevitable, and the new kill rights system will indeed allow an alert escort fleet to shoot first come winter.

Karma also dicates that few, if any miners, will actually make the effort.

Look back, it isn't that impressive that you managed to kill exhumers when it only took 1 destroyer.

I mean any killmail whore has the motivation to do that.

Now when it takes actual organization you FAIL so remarkable.

I can confirm that Solitude is in the ass-end of nowhere and I will NEVER deploy there ever again, unless circumstances absolutely require it. It is a logistical nightmare unless you have a jump freighter.

Seriously i havent smile this much by reading GD in a long time. You got what you deserved. What happens when you get blown up in an ice belt and see wrecks? O I know this one pick up another expensive ship and dont tank it either.... Seriously..... Pick up a proc tank the hell out of it and enjoy the extra profit from the rediculous price lente ice is at. Lente ice is I think double what it used to be so even if you mine it 20% slower your still make out like a bandit.

QUIT WHINING! I mine with 4 Procs at the same time... If all of them get blown up i lose almost nothing because they are cheaper than dirt. When you lose a mack you lose 200mil. The ability to make up the difference in mining yeilds is in the hundreds of hours and you almost certainly almost get ganked before you make up the difference...
