I finished this last night and wanted to debut it here. I hope you all enjoy!

EVE Online - Imagine

Something I've been wanting to make for a while is an EVE Online music video. After the death of The Matrix Online, EVE later became my MMO of choice. I love the creativity of the community and have wanted to contribute for a long time. So after about three years of putting it off, this is what I've come up with. Terrible dubstep included! I hope it's up to the standards of my fellow capsuleers.

All video footage is borrowed from various EVE Online trailers. The rights of which belong to CCP. They've made a great game.

The voiceover is pieces of a monologue from the audio book of Michael Crichton's "Sphere". If you are a fan of science fiction and have not yet read the book, I cannot recommend it enough. The audio book is narrated by Ed Asner who gives a great performance, as you would expect. And while the audio book is sufficient, it does omit some pieces of the story that help give it some extra weight.

The songs, in order, are as follows:

"Detroit Marketplace" - MIchael McCann, from the "Deus Ex: Human Revolution" soundtrack

"Rain" - Klaypex

"The most punchable face in New Eden."

Wow, ******* brilliant man! If this were CCP's official trailer, I reckon they'd have twice the amount of subs they have now :)

I have to admit, I did find the dubstep transition a bit jarring. But judging by the youtube comments, it obviously worked a lot better for most people than it did for me. Despite that, still probably the best EVE Trailer/Music video I've seen.

Came in expecting a cover of Imagine made by John Lennon, with lyrics being something similar to "Imagine there's no Falcons, it's easy if you try".

However the vid was awesome, great work.

This is ridiculously awesome. The dubstep works perfectly. Great trailer mate!

One question though; where did you get the narrative from?

Really well done and I am really glad this wasn't that terrible John Lennon song. Although I will agree with Laktos and say that the switch between the narrative and the dubstep was a bit rough, this is probably more down to my disinterest in the genre and the music that made it so, not that was it a bad cut.
