Salvaged materials, what are they for?

So, I've found salvaging wrecks to be something I enjoy doing, since I'm ratting in missions and scan sites right now. However, I have no idea what most of this stuff is actually for. I've noticed that stuff like "Alloyed Tritanium Bar" sells really well, but nothing in EVElopedia tells me what it's used for, much less the charred circuits & such.

They are used in the production of rigs which can be found under ship modifications

They are the raw materials needed for the manufacting of Rigs.

Which is quite the lucratice field for a person starting out in manufacturing that has a bit of starting capital *hint hint*

Hm, alright. I never did quite figure out the research/industry stuff beyond "here's a blueprint, get some minerals and start a job." Sounds like I'm best off selling them, since I'm not going for the research skill tree.

Thanks! Wanted to make sure I wasn't just selling off stuff I should keep. Smile
