Hello!

I just thought it would be a cool idea to reach out to those of us who play in the Midwest area of the US. Not sure if we would ever do a "get together" type thing, but it might be cool to group ourselves together in a corp (preferably mine) lol.

I was at barns and noble today and bought an eve book (templar one) And someone stopped me and asked me if the book was for eve online, and i couldn't help but realize that there are a lot more eve online players out there than you think. We are a semi-secretive crowd however as eve online is not a game you openly brag about to your friends like WoW or some of its sister games.

Lets see where this thread goes however!

Wisconsin over here. There is a thread somewhere here, I think on the second page, we might have a meet in January or December it would be awesome if the midwest would flock, Ill even agree to have Illinois over :D im jk jk.

Where in WI? I went to school in Stevens Point.. I would like a reason to drive down there and visit friends anyway... And would you really want FIBS over? lol

The first damn mention of Minnesota ever (not really but it feels like it) I myself am taking a break from Eve (the game not the forums... i herd this is how you win Eve) Currently, I am in a corp but inactive. when i get active again I will consider your corp just because you want to recruit MN players. +1 to you sir. If you want to have a beer and you are going to be in the twin cites area, send me an eve mail!

I have told a few ppl that play WoW that I play Eve, and they always sigh for some reason. Every body else tells me that I am crazy.

I am next door to Minnesota, not too far from Fargo actually.

There is a long twin cities meet up thread, or used to be one on these forums, not sure who was doing that one though.

You guys are aware that there is an ingame channel for Minnesota players. Some of us,WI players are also there, MN-EVE. Also do expect a Meetup here in WI in December. Im going to set it up in a bar and hopefully we can get some of you to show up or something :)

I was glad to see folks from Minnesota/Wisconsin/North Dakota have a channel in Eve! I am from Minnesota as well and I must be the loneliest Eve Online player ever! hahaha.. I have been off and on for 4 years and have barely interacted with other players at all except some RL friends just here and there.. I have never joined a Corp other than the starter one. Mainly doing missions here and there and have an Alt who is a miner.. Have been doing a lot more trade runs now and am liking it.. I like setting up market orders and taking risks with sometimes big rewards..

Looking at joining a corporation for PT players...Any good suggestions? Looking for something where maybe there is an event a week I could join up with for fun etc..

Black Hills, South Dakota here. would love a chance to go to a out of game event. I get over to the twin cities once or twice a year. Could be a possiblity for me.

Sorry guys its been a while since i have taken a look at the forums in here... I will have to take a look at that chat channel in game...I just noticed that the Midwest was kind of forgotten compared to other areas .... Maybe we can fashion a meetup our something... Hopefully my corp of more midwest players takes off.. I have people from all over but it would be cool to group up more to...

@ OP: I'm from Moorhead! Overseas for school currently, but I usually visit home every January.

So... schedule any meetups then!

There's nothing worse than an EVE player, generally considered to be top of the food chain in the MMO world, that cannot smacktalk with wit and coherency.

New channel has been created " EVE-ND " or " ND-EVE " Sorry that i dont know the exact channel, but im at work so im not actually in game.
