Please, in Hi-sec. I know I can mine in low sec. But not ready to yet. This is about what to mine, as in standard, concentrated, or dense.

Would someone mine standard over Condensed or Concentrated?
Condensed over Concentrated or v/v?

Can someone please shed some light on the for me.

Thanks!

Mine standard. Dense has the same m3 as standard, therefore mining standard is the way to go. Would you want your kids 'densing'?!?

Unsatisfactory answer due to the following reason(s):

You have no quippy signature.

Sorry...

You are referring to the 5% and 10% bonus ores. Of course you would want to mine those variants as they are worth more per m3.

Thanks. Just one of those things one is unsure of when they are new. Seems obvious later, but I would not put it past the devs to cause some sort of problem or challenge for the different types of ores. And only now, via the ore page link, do I understand that Condenses or Concentrated is only for one type of ore, with All others having other types of bones names such as Vivid, Prime, Fiery, etc. All new to me. :)

My deepest apologies for being vague in my answer, but my signature is written in invisible font, so don't even go there.

One exception (sometimes) is Kernite as the standard version is used to complete a certain storyline mission and may command a higher price than the bonused versions in some areas.

Good point. But that would only be valid for a very few individual and scattered systems. Also, it is worth more ISK selling the refined Kernite's minerals anywhere than the Kernite itself (excepting the case of the mission scenario).

Anyway OP, the named ores are 5% and 10% better, and even after over 2 years p[laying, I can't remember their exact names.

Here is what qualifies as the Mining Bible. The list of the Ores is towards the top.

It should also say what the bonus is in the asteroid's description. In the case of Veldspar, dense is +10% and condensed is +5%. Other asteroids will have different titles, but the bonus will be the same.
