SS. CQ would be great if they had actually finished it and we had in-Station games and other shenanigans.

SS for lack of decent comp. But once that happens I guess I would be half 'n half. CQ looks cool and the immersion is awesome it's just that there isn't anything different to do.

Edit: Okay maybe I'll swing more for CQ if I get a better comp. My excuse is to stand on a balcony all day watching my giant ship spin itself :D

Ship spinning. CQ does nothing for me. Just my personal opinion.

Ship Spinning, would likely use CQ if my computer could run it well.

You don't use your CQ? Can I have it? I'll put my exotic dancers in them. Oh and you can't keep the second key ether.

CCP wish list: show damage on ships and open that door!

Ship spinning.

CQ still taxes my computer and offers no additional functionality to compensate for it.

Plus... ship are just cooler than this husk of meat I call a body!

CQ

I really like the avatar stuff for EVE and an looking forward to seeing it expanded. Just a sham there isn't any new stuff on the TV, and all the "breaking news" is months old now.

i'd be fine with a fullscreen version of my ship hangar as background, everything else is just without any real purpose.

Saying something is pointless is a common argument used in Eve, as if everything else does have a point to it.

It doesn't. There is as little point to ship spinning as their is to CQ, just like there is as little use to faction warfair as there is to hello kitty online. Its just a matter of taste. It is okay to just say "I don't like it" you know.

That's what i did in my way in a thread that asked for what i think about it.
I don't care if you do share my opinion or not.
But feel free to add your opion to the thread instead of the pointless response you posted.

22 counts of WiS, and 24 of SS. Of the 24 who said SS, 10 expressed that they only used SS because they couldn't run CQ.

CCP, that last, 10 use the hangar view due to hardware issues, is something you need to address before we get multi-avatar areas. Its also a reason to have multi-avatar areas in game before such areas have game play that matters. You can test and insure it works on all the different hardware used by us players before it needs to work.

SS

When I dual box I SS because its easier on the graphics card and I usually have at least 5 other windows open. If client performance was better I would probably use the CQ more.

SS mostly. The CQ is nice, but I don't care for the load screen, so I mostly SS.

I use WiS for 3 main reasons:

1. It is set by default and I'm a person of inertia, to say so;
2. I spin ships in space so it's fine to have some break from that;
3. In CQ there is still ship spinning and it is automated so my hands are free to write something in chat or the like.

But really, WiS models and light are pretty damn good. Even if we won't see proper WiS done in EVE, I'm going to check out WoD just for the eyecandy (hoping that it isn't vapourware, obviously).

I probably must add here that I have no problems running CQ on a single client. I'll probably try multiboxing soon, we'll see what will that do.

Respect. Cool

The issue I have with the CQ is performance. I am able to run three EVE clients for my squad ops whether mining or running level 4's. 30 fps with all three running.

Running the CQ with just one client there is a severe performance hit that is pretty much unacceptable from my perspective 4-5 fps.

Not really sure what the non optimized deal is with the CQ, but there is clearly an issue with performance balance between the actual game and the pet add on.

That would actually need to be addressed for me to consider using that or any other part of the game they add that drops in performance so drastically.

Ship spinning, first, last and always.

The Captains Closet and potential station environments hold little interest for me, if I wanted that sort of thing I'd consider playing Dust or some other FPS.
