Issues, Workarounds & Localization

It has come to our attention that some players are continuing to use Exefile.exe to start the game even though they are not experiencing problems with the launcher.

Starting the game using this file is not recommended and may cause issues when used to patch the client. Starting the game using Exefile.exe should only be done as a workaround if you are experiencing problems with the launcher preventing you from starting the game.

In order to update the client you will need to start the game using eve.exe which will start the launcher and begin the updating process. Alternatively you can try using the repair tool (repair.exe) to get the client to the latest version.
