I like most of what you did, but I need to make one complaint.

The setting doesn't remember my preference for showing portraits or not in the chat pane. Normally it was never an issue, because it was 1click to turn off portraits in the chat pane. But, when I get a private convo now I need to repeatedly shut off convos in chat pane through the multi-click setting, which is annoying.

Can we have a default setting? (I do like portraits in my local view and such, but in general, I prefer just having the chat with no portrait.)

Thanks for taking my input.

As well as EVE players currently treat one another? Lol

What's the usefulness of this feature? Are we really expecting console players to type out messages with a controller or are we expecting them to have a keypad/keyboard?

I can't wait for messages like "When is that orbital strike incoming?" (Activate Module- Match has already ended)

Necro!
Ok, I've been out of the loop for a while. What I reacted to very quickly with these changes was that EvE is becoming less and less the game I remember. And it's a very silly thing.

What do I feel we're starting to lose EvE? Right-clicking. Anyone who's been in the game for some time know the simple truth. If you need to do something, anything, try right-clicking first.
To me this is part of EvE's character.
And I will always try to do what I want through right-clicking, before trying other options or petitioning.

The highlighting is kinda faded. Turning it on or off don't really make any difference lol.
So ... will there be a highlight that looks like one?

Looks good, less clutter is always nice.

One question: If I turn off dust bunnies chat in local, will the channel counter still show how many there are in system?

Yes, you always see the number of 'Bunnies' even though you hide them from the Member list and/or take their coloring from the chat messages.

You can however not hide the chat messages themselves from the chat channel.

So much for not being forced to deal with Dust if we don't want to. Not that I ever really believed we'd stay unaffected and I'm sure having to deal with drooling babies in chat will soon be the least intrusive of the ways Dust will be forced upon us.

Nevermind then... please increase the maximum number of people i can block !

Seconded. Make it, hmm, 100k? Just to be on the safe side... Now if only we could autoblock people based on certain parameters, like...whether they're dust bunnies or not?

My only concern so far is how user friendly these dust puppies will be.

I prefer dust bunnies, Dust Puppy doesn't quite conjure up the same kind of negative connotation as your average FPS player does... +1 for the reference though ;)
