Equilibrium of Mankind causing genocide on Akila V

Interesting. I find myself in the position of questioning the sanity of a warrior fighting for my people, and agreeing with the wisdom of an anarchist terrorist.

Astroyka, fanatical zealotism and blind prejudice reflect poorly upon us all.

Mr Caine, while I have reservations about the nature of your organization, my prayers go out to the poor souls lost in this utter tragedy. If there is anything I can do, please ask.

I found this in less than thirty seconds of looking.

Probably the fact that a carrier with no drones of any kind was beaten by three battleships and a cynabal. And it's cargohold is truely glorious.

((killmail from battleclinic was posted in the OP. Also, destroyed drones and fighters don't show on killmails))

No drones? A horde of them was shot down before Mr. Airaken decided things are running as intended and steered the carrier towards the planet.

For minmatar republic dogs who are trying to score some cheap political points over this tragic event, I have no comments; their actions speak for themselves.

For everyone else, we are organizing salvage and repair operations as we speak, making sure no Kyonoke made it down to the planet as the ship sank down. I will keep you updated.

I fail to see exactly what political point you assumed I was making. As some reading may know, I have a rather long running dislike of Mr. Airaken and the fact he's lost a carrier has really cheered me up.

As for destroyed drones, thats fair enough. But then again, the fact he had so few drones that you were able to destroy more or less all of them says something in itself.

By this statement I'm trying to ascertain if in fact the pilot deliberately mean to ditch his carrier into the planet.

Be silent, whelp, lest your ignorance continue to get the better of you. Your fruitless prospecting only looks foolish to everyone involved. The Zhayedan Sardir Boma Airaken gave three million individuals the lasting respite that Stillwater would not offer them and has been incarcerated in the process. I'll not let his sacrifice be sullied by the likes of you.

It is chilling to know your petty dislike of one capsuleer overshadows any concern for the survivors of Akila V, who still suffer under Imperial oppression.

Given the way the situation developed, the Zhayedan Sardir did everything within his power to ensure the inhabitants of Akila V were delivered to the Lord. He performed admirably, but the partial success of this operation has come at a grave cost to those of true faith.

The report given by Lord Caine is, ultimately, rather accurate.

Prayer rites for the journey of the reclaimed souls were completed this morning. May they be enriched by God's grace or forever damned.

This is not over.

The part about a Seeker being stupid enough to jump alone into a lowsec system in a capital, proceed to hover over one of the planets, announce his intent to land troops or whatnot in local, only to have his ship full of blueprints and random tidbits be shot out of the sky by inept Cartel loyalists. It all seems rather contrived, and if it truly is an accident of circumstances, then even better.

Now as for these supposed deaths. I have heard no stories from third parties to corroborate Mr. Caine’s story. Firstly, carriers simply do not drop out of the sky on to planets when they are destroyed; standard orbits are very high and unless Boma had a set warp-in very close to the upper atmosphere of the planet it would have taken hours for the wreck to land. Additionally, even if this were the case, the pilot would have needed to direct the flaming wreckage of his ship directly on top of a major city to cause the casualties described here. No easy feat when the atmosphere and poorly-aimed artillery shells is breaking it apart. And that is another matter – why did the Stillwater forces not destroy the wreck before it hit? Surely they could have blown it up instead of looting it, right? Because I am absolutely sure there is some EoM property now in the hangars of the Cartel loyalists that participated in this little escapade. If they had time to loot, they had time to save the civilians, which they did not do.

Either the death toll is exaggerated or extreme ineptitude was exhibited in the handling of this event. Even if it is true I suspect that if the story is now being used to illicit sympathy for the ‘noble’ Cartel protectors of Akila. Leopold’s crocodile tears may fool some, but not I.

Coming from you, that's quite a compliment. But I would like to know why you cultists decided the home system of a known Cartel supporting corp was the best target.

Don't bother with either option.

I've dealt with Astroyka before; she just seeks to draw the topic away from an Amarrian doing good work, and re-focus it on 'Look at me, I'm so riteous and noble, nyaa-nyaa.'

Best to ignore her until she stops babbling.

As for the attack:

An unprovoked attack, against a planetbound colony full of civilians, is absolutely galling. I offer the services of my corporation to assist in the rebuilding and cleanup process.

Ignorance is bliss, and as I stated before, less Amarrians is all the better. You can spout your dogma, but clearly you did not read my comments correctly; which stands to reason.

Carry on, scum, the in fighting in this and other threads is amusing.

Early estimates show that the EoM carrier was baited into Akila by the local Theology Council agents and forces, as I stated in my original post. After wiping them out, we were the only people to shoot down the carrier before it warps off with one of the Kyonoke components.

As I said, interrogation is underway.

I'm more drawing people to the fact Amarrians do less good work and cause more suffering by their actions, it's blind people like you that can't see the difference.

Astroyka, your bias is leaking through your sides.

Please leave this topic if you have nothing to add to the situation in terms of condolences for the lives lost or humanitarian help for the survivors of the accident.

The lives lost that you may have caused? I guess in the heat of battle you did not think of the consequences.

As for condolences; sure, I pity any civilian caught up in capsuleer wrangling's, I've seen enough of sorrow on both sides. Your bias is clear too.

Can't we all just get along?

Thank you for the impartial report, I assume you have evidence that the pilot intentionally steered his vessel into the planet? Are you sure the vessel wasn't simply "out of control" after your onslaught?

Not that I care for the Amarrian casualties, it would be nice to hear both sides of the encounter.

Boma Airaken; willing to give an AAR on the event?

As for ISK to "help", I'm sure there are many of your supporters that will contribute to your "glorious" victory.

Congratulations, making the deaths of three million completely innocent people into nothing more than yet another strident tirade of junkyard dog barking simply goes to affirm those personal qualities that have made you stand out as a unique human being.

Whatever the realities are of the conflict between Matari and Amarrian, both sides have a name for someone who cares nothing for MEGADEATHS of civilian casualties. That name is sociopath.

Ever run an agent mission? I'm sure you can see where I'm going with this, so I'll shorten it down. We're all sociopaths. Some worse than others, sure, but sure as hell not one single capsuleer could be classed as 'normal' by your average civilian.

Comes with the job.

Funny how ACN hasn't aired anything about the incident. I believe Mr Caine must have been in some type of drug induced delusion.
