I have the retina macbook pro and Ive noticed that the sound quality in game isnt all that good compared with the PC version (I am using the same headphones for both so its not the speakers at fault). The mac client sounds somewhat muffled and sounds like there are some unwanted high harmonics distorting it. The PC version has spectacular clear sound and the mac sound is just uninspiring and dull. Is this a bug or just to do with the mac sound hardware?
