I think Gallente is sexy. I can totally see myself and a nice gal in there.

Amaar is kinda nice too, though a bit dark.

So, what is your favourite CQ?

True, Caldari is nice too. I like them all actually. Just not the Minmatar CQ. It looks like a submarine's engines room (I am talking about the WW2 Subs). But that's just me.

The Amarr one is just what I could expect from them. You really get the feeling you are a worshipped god walking up that walkway.

The Caldari one has a nice clean look about it too, the balcony overlooking your ship is the best one in the caldari imo..

Those are my favorites.

Actually, none of them look very appealing. From a pure design perspective the Caldari quarters look nice but from what I've seen so far, nothing really changes except for a few textures and the general layout. No new interior objects or anything. The same TV-Couch-Mirror stuff we have now.

So I don't see a reason to switch back from The Door.

Yeah it was quite a disappointment. Good thing is that station spinning is back so no more door.

Mmm i agree for the TV, but couch are very much different. As for mirror well, they are just mirrors, how else do you expect them to look?

they are some new objects there and there. The amaar statues for exemple.

Torn between Caldari/Amarr, though leaning towards Amarr. But it's lacking any slaves...disappointed.

From the preview in the video, I must say Caldari. It feels Caldari, unlike the other three, which are somehow a bit off.

Gallente is too much white and clinical. It could be a bit more pompous, artsy, synthetic crystal walls, TV screens everywhere, cleaning drones buzzing around, etc. Then again, maybe all this luxury stuff is planned for sale in the NeX.

Minmatar isn't messy enough, it doesn't quite have the stitched together feel their ships have. It almost feels planned, not improvised, like "Hey, what do we do with that hole in the hangar where that drunk reaper pilot parked his ship last week? - Oh, I dunno, let's plonk a Captain's Quarter in there, you know we can always use more of those, considering they get regularly devastated by egger parties."

The Amarr looks nice enough, just a bit too dark, though the preview wasn't that long. Maybe making it brighter, more golden, more like a temple or sanctuary to for the immortal demi-god it's created for. But I can totally see me striding down that arched walkway with my flock of priestesses fluttering around me.

Caldari for me. Although it looked like a bridge onboard a ship.

Gallente could use some more time, I liked the organic feel of it but it had too much of that clinical feel and because of that, it felt more like stepping into a operation room.

As for Amarr, the pathway from the hangar to your quarters is a nice touch and the statues also bring out some of that 'Amarrian' sense. But it stops there and basically turns into another template that was lying about dressed in textures and color typical for the Amarr.

What I meant was that all quarters share essentially the same basic interior. You'd expect a personal shrine in the Amarr quarter, candles, incense and other religious stuff. Or some nice holo-paintings and fine wines in the Gallente ones. A tasteful glass-and-steel minibar in the Caldari quarters to accomodate guests/business partners and so forth. Remember: Even a small-time capsuleer with a few million ISK to his name still has the economic weight of a Fortune 500 company according to the lore. The quarters should look opulent since a vintage wine would cost us virtually nothing.

Edit: That is... unless CCP plans to sell us these things, 2000aur apiece. Straight
