Beating a Dead horse, Standings while fleet missioning.

As I understand it when you are fleeted and sharing the rewards that following happens:

1) Your fleet shares the isk and corporation standing improvement
2) Mission does NOT count towards the story line mission pre-requ of 16 (20?) missions

However, if you do NOT share the reward do the above still hold true?

2.) Mission does count towards storyline but only for the character that accepted the mission.

I think my question may have been missed. Are you saying that it applies as long as you are in a fleet no matter if you share rewards?

That's correct. The player who accepted and hands in the mission will get one tick towards a storyline whether the hand in is shared or not.

Note that this allows you to grind non-combat alt faction standings. First your combat character shares corp rewards until the alt can accept its own L4s. Then the alt accepts the missions, combat char runs them, and alt hands them in (shared or not; doesn't matter). After 16 the alt will get a storyline (which can again be run by the combat char) and get faction standings.

I had my alt (other account) fleeted with me while I did missions after doing that off and on for 2 weeks my alt has access to missions on their own (lvl 2), and has standings increase with said corps. Big smile
