Once again Goonswarm don't wait for things to happen, they make things happen.

We and our allies are singlehandedly saving Eve from terminal boredom and collapse....a simple thank you would be appreciated.

I came to this game as a simple miner.

Now I cannot mine, I will now leave eve.

We have created so much, why must you destroy it?

Goodbye eve.

May you reap what you sow, good sir, reap it well.

New life springs from the ashes of destruction. I see you and your fellow goons as the catalyst so play on.

Checking my list of "Things EvE is Not"

Yep...."mining simulator" is #3.

Whoever sold it to you as a mining game, lied to you. You should sue them.

What Mittens and his goonies are doing is entirely within the bounds of acceptable gameplay in EVE.

That said, it's also a douche move, and should be remembered next year during Election time.

A worthy effort, but futile. The "his goonies" is a nice touch though.

What this project will do is eviscerate one of the rotten, bot-dependent cores of EVE's economy. Literally everyone should be happy about a remodeling of markets that favors the real player rather than the macro program. The laborer is worthy of his hire!

There is nothing like smartbombing 6 Mackinaws to death and watching all their pods sitting there, trying to mine for hours after you killed their ships. In a week, that kind of thing won't exist anymore...at least not in Gallente space. I'd hardly call that a "douche move" and I bet lots of other people agree.

If a significant portion of Hisec coordinated their voting, not only would Hisec get its fair share of delegates, but Mittens would lose his position as chair (assuming he decides to run again).

Hisec always gets its fair share of delegates, idgi

This entire thread is lies and slander.

We are doing NOTHING with Ice and Oxytopes.

Granted, we're also ensuring you guys can't, either, but that's ENTIRELY besides the point.

Darnit you evil pubbies, leave Goonswarm alone!

For shame, exploiting the misfortunes of others for political gain. We are douches, but exploiting that is just beyond reprehensible. You sir are a cad.

This all got me curious, so I wandered around the systems in Gallente space in a SB just to watch the fun. I didn't have a lot of time so missed any explosions, but I did notice a pod sitting idly in one of the ice belts, in Brap I think it was.

Got me interested in eve for about half an hour anyways, so thanks for that.
