PI question around routing and Factories

Can I set up a planet with this kind of routing (LP = launch pad, F = Advanced Industry facility)

LP ===== F1 ===== F2

Basically route from LP to one factory, then from one factory to another.
If I can do it like that, does it ensure that F1 fills up first and then F2? If not, is there any way to set up a planet so that certain facilities are prioritised as to resources and others only get resources when the prioritised ones are full.

It is not possible to prioritize PI routing, if there is room in the factory, it will take in as much as possible from storage. If not, then it will stop production after the cycle completes.

You could do a workaround using multiple LP's or storage facilities. Expedite a certain sum to the secondary storage area and create a route to the factory you want to work before the others. Transfer the exact amounts and log in once the materials are almost used up.
