Hello,

CCP talked about this at alliance tournament and I was just wondering if work is being done on this or if this was just fluff for the breaks between matches.

Thanks

Isn't the Level One AI part of their "Brain in a box" project?

No. The Level One AI is a modular NPC AI system that allows CCP to make basic NPCs more reactive.

Brain in a Box is a server/code restructuring taking all character data (skill points, attributes, etc) off the nodes and onto dedicated servers so that less data is called in session changes (so that all the session change has to do is call a single [Mara_Rinn_Brain] function - a brain in a box).

I'm sure there is a wicked bad joke in there somewhere concerning thinking with the wrong head, but even I refuse to stoop to that level.

And yes, we are interested if this is still being worked on.

Nope, I am refering to the actual act of removing your brain and putting it into a box. You could take it elsewhere, but the resulting mental image isn't as funny.

Heh, guy walking down the street with his brain in a cardboard box, tries to buy food from a food cart, no one can understand him. Silly Shennanigans!

Maybe I should change my costume for Halloween to this. :)

The trolls in this post were good.

My question however is still left unanswered.

Brain in a Box is a way for the EVE server to handle your skill points applied to a ship and to reduce server delays on jumps and undocks, etc.

I haven't heard about anything since, so would expect it to not hit this expansion.

Where I am.

Sure they were talking about brain in a box? I'm not...

Don't be scared, because being afk is not a crime.
