Realistically, my plan is not purely making ISK. It is a great benefit that comes with the 'adventures' of flying the WHS, killing sleepers, and doing more than just checking local for safety which I do when I do low-sec exploration.
It is the unknown and the fact you never know what salvage will be dropped (like low-sec exploration has with overseeers/factiondrops).

I'll look up Talocan and see what I can gather on intel, although I think I still need to see discover and find out the hard way myself.

Play the game the way you want to, again just dont quit WH's if you get burned out or ganked out. we need more ppl like you in w-space, willing to dive down the hole and exlore. ps: bring a pvp ship in your orca

I was a nomad (on different alts) in wormhole space for a longtime (now I just raid into wh space) and my general experience is this:

1. C5/C6 gas harvesting C320/C540 was the only non-pvp activity worth doing, but clearing the sleepers aint easy and it takes up a lot of space

2. With an Orca you can easily get stuck for days (in my case was weeks with full load of gas, ribbons and loot drops), when looking for a way out of a hostile wh I chained thru a c5>c6>c5>c4>c5>c4 w/(static c1) with no other options - wh closed behind me and I was in a c4 static c1 [this happened more than once and to other people I know, so its not rare to be stuck in a wh with a static c1 or null sec exit]

3. You can't carry much when considering the time you've invested, so mining is out of the question and doing sleeper sites depends on your fleet composition (usually requires a lot of multiboxing including scouts etc.,)

The Orca fit I use is pretty effective at surviving, hi slot cloak/med. neut/probe launcher, mids web/medium cap booster/100MNAB, damage control, bulk head (or wcs) with ec-drones. If you get stuck, align out neut your target drop ec-drones and warp. When I'm moving the Orca I use an dual web assist/scout.

To sum it up, there's no isk in being a nomad. Better find a decent corp/alliance that has a static you like (C3, C4, C5 etc.,) and roll the exits all day doing the sites till you get the amount of space credits you need.

Ahhh but if you do it for PvP and you have a decent fleet comp, you can make a ton of isk.

Fleet Comp Suggestions that fit in Orca bay:

1 - Falcon/Pilgrim
2 - Sabre
3 - Combat T3

If for PvP I suggest staying in C4's and below, you can count on higher wh residents not "soloing" sites in anything you can kill alone.

no more games... it's real this time!!!

My advice would be to go drake instead of tengu.

Your goal needs to be minimize losses, maximize profits.

If your drake gets ganked once or twice, you can still make enough money back to still have a good profit over time.

If your tengu gets ganked once or twice, it will eat up your margin in a fierce way. The time a tengu kills faster won't make it up.

There's extremely little to no point in being 'nomadic' is WHs.
Fact of the matter is you can only do C1-3 sites solo (C2-3 if you want to bring an orca) and those WHs are found very easily from HS.
You're far better off and MUCH safer just probing from HS for inactive holes to run sites in.

The only nomadic method that is highly profitable and works well is if you have the alts to run C5-6 capital escalations by yourself.
This obviously requires much higher SP, asset and risk investment than just running C1-3s, not to mention having the accounts and pilots to pull it off. Not recommended for a beginner.

Bottom line is that I'll give you the same advice I give everyone who asks about this: Join a corp if you want to live in WHs, or move to WHs with a POS with your current corp if your corpies are interested.
