Player known as Starrion has died

I wish to offer my condolences to Starrion's friends and family.

For those that did not know him, he was a man of integrity, generosity, and spirit. I am fortunate enough to have flown with him for many months, and he was a shining example of all the good that can be found in Eve. My memories of our times together stretch from running small gangs around in Black Rise to fighting the HEX coalition in Cloud Ring finally ending up as part of the Rainbow Coalition in Providence.

During all the time I was with him, I was consistently amazed as his self-confidence and willingness to help others. Even though he suffered from a partial loss of hearing, he never let it hold him back. I will miss his unique scouting reports, his lively after-battle discussions of films, and his amazingly deep voice.

Starrion, may we fly together again wherever we find ourselves after this life...

I've flown with him in 2009 and remember his distinct, deep voice on coms.

If you have cause to complain about this thread, please don't actually post in it - use the report button or the community petition button. A Senior member of the CCP community team has seen fit to leave this thread here and as such, CCL have no inclination or authority to move it.

Lastly, CCL do not send warning mails, we don't warn or ban - we report breaches of conduct to the CCP community team to deal with, and ultimately it's their decision.

Take comfort in the fact that energy is never destroyed. When somebody we care about "dies" they become something different.
They are not gone, they are just changing form and as a resource of energy being reallocated to other things.
