Just my .2 cents on the plex, judging from a regular players point on where plex will settle, and why it might be savvy to buy plex now, (not a CCP alt), My feelings is it will settle about 1.5 billion because at that point most regular players don't need much ships or mods that 1 billion wont pay for a pimped out ship, beyond that its pointless for most regular players to work that much to pay for the plex with isk, the most I would need is 1.5 to pay for a freighter that I dont need, so beyond 1.5 I will just pay for sub because even a billion is to damn much to grind just for a plex.

I was trying to decide on a PLEX price that would push me to conolidate my accounts and I ended up with a number that was much higher than I thought it would be. It all comes down to the semi-passsive account-bound income streams for me, as it's fairly easy to run a profitable account well beyond 1.5b per PLEX without having to actually do much. For your first 2-3 accounts, where active isk making is likely to be relevant, the break point is even higher.

Yeah I run multi accounts too but to grind that much I can't see the enjoyment of a second job, I like the convenience of alts but not if im working to pay that much for anothers pocket, id rather sub my main and sell alts off which then leaves me with ton of isk, which, for me I don't need many different ships being mostly an industry based player and my missions ships fit my needs perfectly and since I make everything I need (unless its cheaper to buy) but overall a price beyond 600+ mil(each toon) is my point were I say enough for me a push away from the table and keep my isk so I can by more indy stuff as needed but even thats almost maxed out without going to low or dull sec just to run those industry structures and that isn't going to happen(been there done that).

Understandable.

I don't really do grind in EVE so I don't have that "second job" issue. The only times I ever "carebear" is when major new futures get introduced as I like to experience everything the game has to offer. The very few PvE features I have continued with after the initial mastering period have all been utterly broken and (as a result) time limited anyway. Industry and trade, by comparison, can be made in to a comfortably passive background income.

My .2 cents is that plex will settle at 400 mill after the alliance tourney when the market is flooded will failed bids.

The PLEX market won't stabilize much higher than 1 BN ISK. The demand will trickle off too much.

While the post tournament backwash will be a factor, I very much doubt it will be significant.

I believe you are right and demand will fall off a lot at those prices, but demand alone does not determine the price.

Humm, while im not fimilar with how the tourney factors in that I have been keeping an eye on plex since it was 120+ mil and seen the price start climbing and nothing has been able to cap it since, and it has gone up more quickly as people panic and hoard and others are manipulating it for profit, but as I siad there is a point it becomes pointless and it is quickly reaching there. But I doodoo see baffons paying billions for plex but im just subing mine till some reason comes back into plex market.

The futures are allot more grim then you all think.

All I can say is, your late getting on board the ISKIES train, the lucky few either got into it or figured it out.
and its NOT PLEX.

In a few days I will post my predictions and futures.

I do hope CCP takes it seriously, for if they dont seriously interact, by the end of the first month of January, the market is going to go into full panic, That I am almost certain of at this point<-- and that's the big clue, the smart ones can backtrack the road of events from that alone.
