We (Pro Synergy) also use Eve Refinery to determine what to sell/reprocess. Then we sell to buy orders.
Putting up for sale is a way to squeeze more ISK out of it, but it takes time and the 0.01 ISK wars are tedious. Also consider if it's worth it after all the broker fees.
If you go through a lot of loot, try finding a buyer who will buy the minerals/salvage off of you. That way you will avoid having to pay the market sales tax.
