Why can't we have funny EVE Online videos anymore?
Its always
ALWAYS half assed , inception , cool boys wannabe videos that wows no one , and is mostly just a compilation of lucky kills.

In some ways, I miss that old EVE. Love the faces; Brutor made the funniest caricatures I think. Course, you got some pretty good grunts with Caldari too.

Yes, it was funny, and good, and I don't even have sound. (Speakers stopped working for some reason, can't find them, and generally assume my onboard sound fried.)

..need a new gaming headset and mic I think; not that these are part of a headset.

the channel surfing sketch comedy gag is stale.
Need something that's as good and well produced as Clear Skies with the deepest insanities and ridiculousness of the meta game.

Clear Skies is a bit well... don't pod me if I say this.
LOW BUDGET.
The story is a bit dull and the voice acting could be better.
I'll rather if they step up their game and start using SFM and getting better voice actors.
I mean.... 400k players , has to have a hobo with a golden voice somewhere


I'll rather have MOAR EVE HELL

What's wrong with being a WoW fan? It's arguably a better game when it comes to delivering on its main selling points.

The problem is not lack of comedy, or of something else creative enough... It's also lack of quality EVE video even in that genre you call 'overused". Yes, it's overused. But finding such videos that are good is still very hard.

Realized that when I failed to find videos to showcase EVE to friends.

Lack of ability to save gameplay data based "replays", WiS and something similar to Valve movie maker doesn't help for sure.

Edit: Heck, some sort of movie maker combined with Incarna would be one of the best things that happened to machinima for a while.

Wrong POV. Crack/Sarin gas is a good product for the guy who has needs that can be effectively satisfied with it.

WoW seems to be a good product for many, because it's playerbase
wants to be happy/satisfied and WoW delivers that.

Since when are "things" good/bad ? It's always people projecting their POV onto everything else,
