Poverty is part of economical equation and all of us are affected some more some less,

Given that we are youngest/emergent empire it is not illogical to have higher poverty lvl's especially if you count in large influx of poor people(read massive amounts of slaves) on top of large population that is in the early(on empire scale) process of generating wealth and prosperity...statistic is bound to budge in wrong direction and paint us all in wrong color.

But we are talking about empire here with all it might and accomplishments and nothing is further from truth than saying that minmatar people are opening empty fridge,there is other side of story here the scale is just too large too look it so simple.
