I agree. My face is the only thing that warranted neglecting the actual game for years.

It enrichened the eve universe more than CQ did and hurt it less than the NeX store did.

When you pay £27.99 for an expansion, you have an entitlement to voice concern.
But your NOT paying £27.99 for this expansion, so you have no entiltement for complaint.

ps
£27.99 figure used based on this.

Man, I'm sure glad you "the EXP is free, so shut up and be happy with it" folks don't actually work for CCP....because if you did, this game wouldn't last another year. No company in their right mind would take your approach to customer service....ever.

Bottom line is we are paying customers.CCP didn't make EXP free to do us a favor. They figured it would be their most profitable option,so no,I don't owe them anything for that. If they start charging for EXP, I'll just find another game if I don't want to pay.

Yes we pay a monthly a subscription, or someone buys plex which we buy ingame ..
either way we pay each month for Eve

WoW players pay a monthly subscription aswell ..
they get fairly regular patches aswell, but they have to BUY each expansion as it's released.

Unlike you, you just pay a subscription fee.

It's a small point, but you seemed to miss it entirely.

No, you miss the point. If ccp didn't release free "expansions, no one would be playing the game. As these "expansions" get crapper, less people keep playing, as is noticeable.

I'm still trying to figure out if Crime watch was the reason True Sansha Brass tags went from 10K to 500K or if it's something else or manipulation.

Not always. Power creep makes it so things that were once balanced suddenly aren't.

Take Exhumers, for instance. Or maybe gankers. You pick.Oops

Most of the people complaining in this thread seem to be a bunch of self-centered individuals who havn't been around long enough to know when something good is coming, even if it hit them on the head.

BOUNTY HUNTING - for this alone, with the DUST 514 merging seems quite good to me. Certainly seems better than Inferno which personally for me didn't seem that special apart from missile launchers. Certainly better than Incarna, Tyrannis & Incusions COMBINED.

Personally content wise it feels quite light, I doubt they had many artists etc on this expansion however that doesn't make it or break it, I think that rebalancing is something of the most important happening now. When I started EVE I was told "nope that ships sucks don't fly it, yeah same goes for that and that" In the end I jumped between ships and left so many behind that I really wished to fly but had no reason to as they were quite useless. Maybe it might have been because I did choose Amarr with the stupid cap bonuses but still, this is a great expansion, now if they could just fix the armor tanking. Blink

Really? Fleet sizes are still setting record numbers, alliances and coalitions are still breaking barriers EVERY day. Trade hubs are even busier. Maybe that little number on screen when you log in or the graphs on eve-offlineDOTnet actually don't mean as much as you think it does in relation to pure active player contribution. Just think about it.

And this is exactly what Retribution does- it gives everybody a metric ton of new ships to play with, and create new tactics and fleet compositions. It revamps some core game mechanics (rules) of the game. It re-introduces bounty hunting.

These are tools for us, the players, to create new, exciting and fun gaming experiences to each other. They last for years and years and keep evolving and giving birth to emergent gameplay, unlike "fun pve content".

That's how a sandbox MMO works. I play my own favourite games with and against other players, with the shovels and buckets CCP creates, I don't want them to build me any fancy sandcastles or arrange entertainment for me.

The Moa used to be an awesome deathmobile in 2003. So did the Kestrel and the Raven.

Since you haven't even used any of the existing content, I don't understand why you're demanding more new content.

It's also worth remembering, when you complain about the content in EVE Online being boring, that you are the content. Welcome to the sandbox Big smile

Where is the sandbox exactly? All I see is people complaining about boring content, boring 0.0, broken FW, and then when somebody thinks outside the box and does something interesting in the "sandbox" it's either an exploit or gets nerfed.

Your phrase "Welcome to the Sandbox, you are the content" is what CCP would love as it means they need to do nothing and when anyone says Eve is a bit meh ot the moment they can just turn around and blame the player.
