I like the new quarters. nicely done.

hopefully, the gameplay that was supposed to come with Incarna will be equally good (and imminent).

While I really like seeing all the dev blogs today ( best day in several weeks ) I will refrain from going nuts over it since, after all, it's CCP we are talking about... on sing today... on live later next year... if they hold their timetable that is... ( is there such a thing? )

That is not what the playerbase demanded for years up until Incarna was released. Ambulation was a fan favorite for a long time, so CCP invested resources into meeting player demand. Now that its here, people want something else. *sigh*

With all due respect, did you consult anybody who has experience with architecture instead of just game design?

They are visually interesting, but I feel that the Caldari and Amarr are cold, uninhabitable spaces that I wouldn't want to occupy. I also feel that the spacial qualitys are strange, especially the placement of the bed. It worked in the Minmitar design, but I don't feel it works in the other racial designs. I realize this is a game, but players like to feel cozy in their virtual space, not uncomfortable.

I hold two degrees; A.S. Archtectural Drafting, B. Arch Architectural Design, as well as a certificate in mechanical engineering.

But my qualifications don't change my perception as a user of the space. Please reconsider :(

AWESOME AWESOMENESS! Gallente captains quarters is especially good. Lol Well done CCP. So glad the station ambulation is finally coming...

On a side note, the beds look strange? Why a single bed? im Gallente! how am i suppposed to entertain my Minmatar slave sex triplets in a single bed? not on at all. And why is the bed all tucked away like its not an important feature of a living quarter?

I hold Computer Science degree and a MCTS certification. on IT, there is something called Windows Starter Edition. It comes with off-the-shelf computers and notebooks. It sucks.

Its purpose? Tick you off so you'll buy something better.

I don't know that they have that much intention behind the design. I know the NeX upgrade CQ will likely be larger, but I don't see them being more spacially comfortable.

Now that we get hangar back and can choose freely when to enter out quartes, I'm looking forward to this update.
New CQ's looks really nice. Your graphics guys have delivered top quality again should be thanked for that.

Even most of my time in station nowdays goes with all kinds of market/s&i/contract/asset tweaking there are still times when my screen isn't filled with various windows. Those are the times when I really love to leave hangar, enter cq and enjoy the content what you guys have created there.

Of course it would be nice to have the public area open and something meaninfull to do, but at the moment that is secondary and can be pushed as far to the future it takes from the crew who is working with it.

Nice blog, was nice to have video on it.

Now, when do we get to customize and when do we maybe get beyond having to use a racial CQ the same as the station?

Maybe some of us really liked the Minmatar CQ but are basing out of an Amarr station?


Great job guys, can't wait to see it on TQ - i'll have to get on to SISI now .

Just as a friendly reminder.

The incarna team doesnt know how to program internet space ships, or guns, or turrets or ships. So quit whining about that and whine at the appropriate devs.


The big question - when can i have the ladies over for a wild night in my CQ?

Why Can't I have a picture signature.

Also please support graphical immersion, bring back the art that brought people to EvE online originaly.

Is ship spinning deployed? When I turn off the CQ and dock, I get a starfield with nothing in it. I'm docked because I have the correct icons on the left and a funky new "unboard your ship" button above the undock button, but no ship to spin!
