The socket wasnt closed, They simply put one of those child-proof covers on it so you dont hurt yourself.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Looks like it's a Abovenet/MFN issue rather than one end user ISP. Seeing a crap ton of packet loss from their hop onwards at LINX.

I'm not on Virgin and I'm seeing the same issue from some other connections too that go via the same route/provider into CCP.

It seems there have been numerous instances of cable theft and damage over the last week and it is heavily impacting some parts of BT's network. Looks like the ones to blame are the thieving so and so's stealing copper cabling.

Kinda begs the question why only EVE and why did it happen when I was piloting my mega in a fleet behind enemy lines. Unless the GMs love me very much I dont think I can get her back home aliveSad

It's not a BT issue, see my post above.

$dayjob connect via the same route to some places and we are seeing the same issue.

I had this issue quite often, I traced it down to EVE Radio, not sure if that is your issue, but I have not had it since i stopped listening to EVE radio.

I'm a nerd, you can check my stats!! Skilling Int/Mem at 45 sp per minute is how I mack!     I'm like a lapdog, all bark no bite.
