controlling npc

My ideas can some times be scattered so I will attempt to word this the best way I can.

My idea came about with the new live event and the crime watch and change to the bounty system crossing through my mind and the Post from way back when, when ccp mentioned controlling gate security.

Why is there not a system in place to somehow progress in ranks within an npc corporation, not all the way to ceo but perhaps to some kind of less director position. Some kind of restrictions would have to be in place and this isnt a fully developed though process just the beginings of one.

But that with this director position control of deployment of small npc groups could be established (just the time and place, nothing further) and that this could be for any npc (both empire and pirate) which would I think progress the story line allowing for us to deploy units to certain areas to either assist or create a little havic.

some kind of limits and rules would have to apply, such as the size of the group of ships to be deployed and the type. along with how to progress to a position, if the position allows access to any other benefits, but perhaps having some kind of way to affect npc corps would make them more interesting and not just that thing that you go to when not in a player corp...
