Next Duality open date

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to announce that Duality will next be open on the 19th October. I will update this thread with details of what will be on offer to test nearer the time, and I suggest you post in the account reactivation thread for Duality (https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=155491&find=unread) ahead of time so we can arrange for your reactivation prior to the server going up.

Most certainly will be waiting for it to open back up. Very happy with the coming changes though.

I had the pleasure of speaking with CCP Bettik at Eve Vegas this year about the changes and I am no longer worried about them. I think after a short period of readjustment the AI is actually going to be easier to manage for drone users/groups than it was before. In the sense that we will be able to control which target the new wave is going to hate the most BEFORE it spawns.

Yes there are going to be a few situations that need to have the kinks ironed out, the biggest one for me being how these new mechanics affect carrier ratting, but overall I'm getting excited over finding ways to game the AI so I have to make FEWER choices :)

How long will Duality be open for? I've arranged to head off on an Internet-free weekend with the other half this coming weekend. What excellent timing :)

Plan is to open Friday morning at approx 10.00am UTC. It will remain open until Tuesday morning at the same time.

Yes because the devs are totally going to wake up at like 3 or 4 am in the Morning JUST so you can effectively mess them around and still whine for SP.

Hey, just saying.

As for "mess them around and still whine for SP", sounds like you mad at something I don't give a **** about. Even if it didn't have an SP reward, I would love to be a part of a mass test. As with ALL the events CCP holds, it would be nice if they covered all TZ instead of just primetime Iceland and europe.
