How does it work exactly? say if i point a ship that jumps through the hole but logs off a few seconds before i point him. Does he log off after 60 seconds?

If someone jumps through a wormhole, then sees a mass of hostile ships and ctrl+q before agressed then his ship will appear as the jump cloak ends and if pointed his ship will sit there for whats lef of the 60 seconds and then dissapear unless you have enough damage to kill the ship inside 60 seconds. If not pointed it will align and e-warp and dissapear after 60 seconds. If your in a frig or something you will almost definitely die, if your in an orca tho a good chance you will survive long enough to dissapear.

Ah man really? That woulda been handy when I was stupidly trying to rush collapsing a WH with an orca the other day...

Except he said he pointed the ship before it jumped through the hole, therefore the ship would be susceptible to the 15 minute aggression timer so even if it e-warped they would still have 15 minutes to scan it down and destroy it.

And since it is only a million km warp radius and given that any self-respecting wh pvp gang will have a prober with them, its a given that they can scan you down in that time.

You read that wrong. He said specifically it jumped, then logged before he could point it:

Secondly, you are incorrect in your statement. Agression timers are per system. So if you aggress in system 1 then he jumps, he has no agression timer in system 2 and can logoff with the 60 second timer.

Learning game mechanics goes a long way to surviving.

Also of note, looking for a corp.
