Launcher comes up but game doesn't start

So I have Fedora 16 (32bit), latest updates per yum, Wine 1.5.8 and I downloaded the offline installer for EVE to load it into Wine.

When I run EVE, either in safe-mode or normal, the launcher immediately comes up with no issue and seems like it's working (player count, yellow bar saying client is ready, etc)

Intel video card (Toshiba laptop I use for work trips)

Any ideas on what is wrong would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

So nothing different on system, but today when I started the launcher and clicked play it came up, I logged in, YAY, then right before the screen loaded to see my ship in the hangar I got a wine error about "EXEfile.exe" having an error.

Ok...my system is weird...but I wanted to give an update in case this scenario goes down with anyone else.

I was finally able to get into the game but I had to change the settings first from the login screen to disable audio and make sure every graphic was set to low (some had changed to high for some reason even though I have an onboard crappy intel card) I also changed it so that I have a static image in the station.

After all that I'm able to log into the game, assign skills, buy/trade/ etc. Haven't flown into space, but won't need to do that while on my trip.
