I'd originally had mixed feelings about about the boosting ability but now that CCP seems intent on removing off-grid boosting, I think it makes more sense. It's risky but you can get some good benefits out of a link in a cloaky group.

Two questions/comments on the cloaky orca.

1) can it fit a CovOps cloak? (didn't see anything about that)
2) it should not be allowed to hold T3 subsystems in it's bay, or you could bring along a cloaky T3 and swap out the cloak subsystem once through the CovOps jump bridge.

It can NOT fit a CovOps cloak. But, like the BlackOps, it gets a speed bonus when cloaked per level. So at level 5 it runs a bit faster cloaked than not cloaked.

Realistically, this won't make much of a difference as it's base speed is pretty slow.


And I think it should still be able to hold sub systems because the maintenance bay won't let you swap subsystems. The T3s would still need to dock at a station and this would conflict with trying to be hidden in a system. (I don't use my T3 much, though. So if this isn't really balanced, let me know why)
