Cant log in to eve on my laptop after the mining barge patch

Every time i try to log in, i get to the character selection screen and all my portraits are grey. Every time i click on my characters portraits nothing happens and i cant log in, yet i used to be able to log in just fine. Anyone else having similar problems?
