This is not really much of a technical issue, or maybe it is. On the overview where there would be a little white start in the middle of the green box for your corp mates, or the little white guy in the purple box for fleets, is missing.

Instead it is just the solid color of the box, how can i fix this?

You actually have your overview settings set to show small standings icons. I forget where specifically (it's been a while), but open your overview settings and look for the tab that shows a list of all standings icons and an option near the top should read something to the effect of "show small standings icons", toggle that off and the standings icons should return to their normal size.
