Eve install totally borked

So I was playing 3 clients at once, and had my computer crash... When I booted back up and launched eve it behaved as if it was the first time I had ever run the program. I completely lost all of my settings. No big deal I just set everything back up, however now it NEVER saves my settings.

I uninstalled eve via the uninstaller, and reinstalled the program, and the issue persists

I ran the repair tool, with no luck as well.

So every time I launch the game, It runs full screen and then I have to watch the intro movie... I also cleared my cache files.


What do i do now? Is there a more thorough uninstall process to overcome this issue?

Have you tried running the launcher as an administrator?

thought that was gonna do it, but it didn't work....

I'm deleting everything eve related from c:\programfiles\x86 and c:\users

gonna give reinstalling another try



Whats even more weird is the fact I can reach www.eveonline.com with firefox, but not with chrome.....

starting to wonder if it's my mcafee antivirus or firewall

After reinstalling twice, deleting all traces of eve.... checking admin rights, virus scan settings, firewall blah blah

Running a Check disk, and a defrag solved my problems somehow.

Now eve loads up windowed and remembers my settings. finally =)
