Its quite simple really, every Wednesday while I do a talk show about Eve and the ins and outs of the game I also run the Eve Radio Lotto. From 19:00 GMT to 21:30 GMT I accept entries and at 21:45 GMT I do the draw, The draw is done by pulling my wallet API via a small app that was written for me and it does some jiggery pokery and forces me to run about naked before giving me as many winners as I ask it for.

The first prize is always 500M isk and other prizes come in as more people enter or donate etc etc

Well yes, the ER lotto has been run for years and as with everything in eve you have the choice of what you do, so enter if you want or don't enter.
