There needs to be a campaign where all alliances war dec the goons and we destroy them.. All in game of course, bet they're cool guys in real life

I just turned into an egg, did I level up? I spent an hour trying to salvage a wreck, when in local a guy said "Stop it, this is my Tempest, I was AFK"

Your plan failed where you said "war dec."

You know, the "too good to be true" expression is actualy true sometime.

They offer somethinga long the line of free isk, crazy ship reimbursement plan, showing you the ropes of pretty much anything, logistical support for most activity, ratting/mining in thier relatively safe space and more. The first time I talked to a recruiter, it really sounded way too good to be true after researchign what soem stuff actually meant. (english not being a 1st alnguage is funny sometime)

Basicly, anyone losing isk to a goon recruitement is not putting any effort at all into it.

Now now, you know that all you goons do is kill orcas in high-sec, so a wardec would be highly effective against your untanked murder squads.

You want to know what's funny? We do have a crazy ship reimbursement plan, we have members experienced in basically every aspect of the game, we have cheap-as-dirt private logistics services, and while our space isn't "safe" by any stretch of the word, avoiding getting blown is simple if you're not dumb. As far as "free ISK" - well, we paid dudes 500M ISK for every 'decent' propaganda poster (glorified image macros) and horrible video tutorials for newbies. A lot of our doctrine ships are over-reimbursed, so there's that too.

If the OP would just send the Goonswarm leader a heartfelt, tear jerking email stating he is mentally unstable and contemplating suicide he might send you 10 billion isk. It worked before. But instead you troll with a positive and forgiving attitude.

They must be furious. Lol

Funny story--when I was a wee newbie I came up with what I thought was a totally awesome Merlin fit. I had a shield extender, a damage control, an MWD, and an afterburner, plus a warp disruptor. I couldn't fit any guns but figured it didn't matter. No one was going to kill my ******* Merlin this time.

I joined a strat op under Laz and managed--for once--to not get lost. At some point he heard of some dreads mucking around in a nearby system and called for a frigate volunteer to head a few jumps out and see what's up. Naturally I volunteered. Upon getting there Laz walked me through using the d-scan for the first time and asked me whether I had any capitals on scan. "How can I tell if they're capitals?" I replied. Anyway, I started naming off what I would later learn were different racial carriers and dreads while the fleet burned to my location. When they reached the gate I was told to warp to a particular moon and tackle the biggest ship I can find. I warped in, noting on Mumble that I "won't last long against those Star Destroyers" as at the time I had no concept of the relative ability of caps to engage subcaps. I just knew that they were big ships and I only had a little one. I got on grid and burned toward the capitals as they started jumping out, while a single Revelation was still in siege mode and stayed. The fleet landed minutes later and blew him up.

I ended up having several hundred million isk dumped on me and was given a faction heatsink from the dread. I think Laz told me to sell it, but in fact I've still got it in VFK, awaiting the day when I'm finally dumb enough to faction fit a Punisher or something and lose it in a blaze of incompetence.

So yeah, free money for newbies! Truly Goonswarm has everything.

The best part is that since the dread was sieged the entire time and I had no weapons, I didn't actually end up on the killmail at all.

Welcome OP to EVE Online, as you have discovered Goons should never ever be trusted. The only people they recruit are from their outside community and those who someone that is already a member vouches for, if you're new and neither of these apply to you do not trust a word they say. Also if you are a new player please be aware that they maintain alts in many of the starter corps for various highsec puposes, if you suspect an npc corp member is a Goon alt do not conduct business with these characters or volunteer any information about your activities or income, doing so will put you on their radar and mark you for future scamming should you prove profitable enough.

And for those claiming that Goons don't scam I say that you are liars, during my second week I was asking around the in game recruitment channel about a corp to join and a Goon responded trying to get me to pay a 500mil isk "deposit" to join. Naturally not being a complete moron I told this "recruiter" to kiss my pasty ass and I've been an adamant Goon hater ever since.
