Tengu nerf coming!!! What do i train for ?

It's 10%. And a HM Tengu will still project that out 90km. Which is what everyone loves anyhow.

he's being a bit blunt but he would be correct.

Generally faction ammo is not ideal for PVE due to cost. YOu are burning lp's more useful for other things (if you get your own) or pay out the nose on the market. All for a marginal increase over what t1 gives. Only PVE ships faction ammo would be viable on, in many people's opinions, are the maruaders. Your basically get 8 weapons performance with only 4 weapons actually used (cruise golem a glaring exception....cruise is jsut not advisable on that ship and CNR is better).


To be honest, the 45km of t2 is not end of the world. All the whiners need to eft viable t3s fits....non missile....for say lego, loki. 45 km's not so bad vice an AC loki that will be chasing targets all day long. Or dropping lots of isk in barrage to get more range but hit for less deeps.

BUt thats me, I t1 frigs and cruisers. BC's as well if not enough to warrant an ammo change. I also tend to be close to enemies as well. fire missiles from 45km instead of 90...they hit faster as you cut the travel time in half. I do this to not waste ammo. As at say 90km's its real easy to have 1-2 salvo's in the air with good ROF that will jsut go poof as thier assigned target died before they got there. to each their own here as always though.

Okay, I see it now. I assumed I missed some mechanical bits. Well, I never realized that there's 3 times of cost difference there tbh, so yeah (I mostly use lasers which work well with faction ammo and situation with faction/T2 costs per shot is the opposite there).

I have to agree, especially if we consider that 45-50 km is the average "long" rat orbit. I think it's new T2 damage application that concerns people.
