The time has come for me to move on to the next phase of my life. For over seven years I have served the Amarr Empire as a loyal servant and member of PIE Inc. Now as my age advances and I find my body unable to do the things I formally could I realize a change is necessary. No... I am not leaving PIE as it is my home and in my opinion one of the most pure and loyal groups of loyalists in the empire. I am however restructuring my role in PIE.

I have today sent notification of my intent to retire from the Admiralty of PIE Inc and to move to the position of Spiritual Advisor. In over six years as an Admiral with PIE I have had the honor of helping to lead this legendary corporation and in my new role I will continue to help with the spiritual needs of our pilots.

The last six months has found me pressed for time to serve as a flag officer in a way our pilots deserve. My advanced age has led to various issues I must now address so I can look forward to many more decades in service to God. Thus my decision was an easy one and while some may find it a loss I assure you PIE will always be my home.

I leave shortly for the monastery on my birth planet of Chaven. There I plan to spend several months in meditation and prayer as I rejuvenate both my body and soul in preparation for my eventual return to space. Until that day I will leave my business interests in the hands of my nephew Zolcan and my spiritual interests as always in the hands of God.

In several months I will eventually return to space and will again proudly carry the banner of PIE Inc in service to the Amarr Empire and God.

Due to the remote location of the monastery eve mail messages may not reach me for several weeks. I do plan to log in to the eve mail network on occasion to reply to inquiries but it won't be a daily occurrence. I look forward to the day when I once again am able to join my brother and sister Amarrians in space under the banner of PIE Inc. Until that day I wish those who worship God safe journey and good tidings.

In all seriousness* I wish you the best in your retirement, I remember our discussion that evening in Rens. It gave me a new perspective to contemplate.

I have made arrangements for my nephew Zolcan, who has over the years so comptently run my Praetoria Shipyard, to manage the day to day operations of Archbishop Industries. As with PIE during this time of rest and recovery I will be available to advise in any way needed. The upcoming dividend for Archbishop Industries will be paid as scheduled and I do not have plans at this time to exercise my options under the charter to end the venture.

If anything, this planned break will allow me to rejuvenate my mind, body and soul. Upon my return to space in several months I will then have the ability and fire to operate at an even higher level than in the past. Until then though shareholders should see no change in operations. If they are still uncertain and wish to sell their shares of Archbishop Industries I will be happy to purchase them back from them at 105% of the original purchase price giving them a nice 5% profit for one month.

Thank you for the explanation. This investment has thus far performed admirably, and so we will retain our stake for the time being.

Archie, dear, I'm so sad to hear you're not feeling well. I"m just back from a little planetside break myself, and I spent some time with a darling little yogi in Oursulaert. HIs techniques were remarkable. Stress relieved! I can put you in touch with him if you'd like.
