So where are they? They might as well be that other most useless organzaton in RL, absolute total silence on the forums with any of thie feedback with upcoming nerfs. Theirs nothing in the sumit meeting minutes that references the winter nerfs and CCP did not come up with these changes overnight which leads to one result , they only serve one master and its not the avg player. So my question why arn't these nerfs in the meeting minutes???

CSM juggle / haggle
CCP balance / nerf
Customers **** / moan

There are good ships,

And wood ships,

And ships that sail the sea

But the best ships are Spaceships

I love how people will say "adapt or die" when something doesn't effect them but the moment their toys get balanced its "EVE is dieing". Lol

One nerds nerf is another nerds buff. Maybe that is why CCP and all other MMORPG devs call them balance tweaks.

That being said, I have 1250 points in missles, so could care less about this balance issue.

I'm a nerd, you can check my stats!! Skilling Int/Mem at 45 sp per minute is how I mack!     I'm like a lapdog, all bark no bite.

I know that's an exaggeration, but some people are quick to dismiss any criticism on these grounds, and it's just wrong.

Me personally, I'm mister adaptation, the 1st thing that popped into my head when I read about the HML nerf and Tracking mods affecting missiles was "OMG, sell Tengu, buy Navy Raven and add tracking comps/enhancers!". With the Rat AI change that's been proposed, well heck, I don't use drones in personal pve at all, the only reason I use drones in Incursions is because the FC tells me too lol.

And I make most of my isk from incursion running now adays anyway, which means basically none of the "nerfs" are going to affect me personally as Incursions aren't being changed.

The fact that they won't affect me doesn't makes the changes good in and of themselves. I worry that , like we've seen time and time and time again from CCP, they will change too much at once and WTFPWN'd by the law of unintended consequences again, which turns changes meant to help us into changes that end up hurting us and the whole game.

And by "hurting the whole game" I mean "DEVs that would be working on new stuff or fixing old issues are now having to be tasked with fixing what they broke in the latest expansions".

I'm not advocating maintaining the status quo, I'm advocating caution......

And yet I have near maxed missile skills and am loving the patch. Kestrels with selectable damage, not stuck on kinetic only? Drool. Small changes to light missile launchers? Drool.

Sure we may no longer be able to fling heavy missiles out to 120 km, I'll happily trade that for t2 missiles lacking the major drawbacks. And sure, those foolishly using tds on me now will soon gain a benifit, but well, I cam use tes and tcs on my missile boats too. Honestly, I am eager to see all the New changes.

Abit over dramatic. Missile changes aren't even that bad.

I would like to see something from CCP before I foam at the mouth about nerfs, the last time I read about it, it was still not set in stone.

Actually I believe they did mention their stance on the rebalancing that was coming, but couldn't go into specific detail for obvious reasons.

They, like most of us, were pretty positive that new life would be breathed into long dead ships and the game in general.

Perhaps you only acknowledge opinions that you agree with, or ignore the opinion of people with a more comprehensive knowledge of game design, or both.

The CSM is committed to destroying high sec. Simply look at the makeup of the CSM.
Ask your self when the last time was ANY of the CSM ran a mission, or needed ISK for that matter.

There is also an element within CCP (Soundwave, Fox Four, who knows who else) who through the introduction of their pet changes have clearly demonstrated their hatred of high sec.

These 2 groups, in conjunction with the null sec propaganda teams, are intent on slowly wiping any high sec profitability out of the game.

The only thing that will stop them is if subs drop and the reason can be attributed back to the attacks on high sec.

Indeed, the buff they championed to mining vessels alone nearly destroyed high sec industry.... Roll

Lol

Sound-"Suicide ganking wasn't designed to be profitable"-wave? Yeah right... As for Fox Four's contribution to the game's AI, how about you HTFU. Man, I hope those two actually DO hate high-sec, because all I've seen lately has been carebear buffs.

Please do not take the liar Dinsdale Pirannha's words as representative of the highsec demographic, I for one hope for nothing more than balance that will make all security levels of space enjoyable for everyone, and I suspect this is what CCP wants as well.

Eh who am I kidding, some people could be kicking back in paradise and still complain that the clouds are too fluffy.
